The school has established itself as one of the pioneering institutions offering all the facilities for quality education, keeping pace with the global competitive environment.

The school has designed a curriculum to conform to international standards which will enable our children to successfully compete at national and international levels and to pursue studies placements in the job market.The school not only meets the educational needs of Army personnel, but also considers students from all over India and abroad. Admission to a class is based on the child's performance in the entrance examination. Civilian children are admitted on the basis of 'Role-Model' concept.

Brief History

  • Army School Bareilly Cantt was founded on 08 july 1987 upto class viii with 100 students.
  • The school got its affiliation with CBSE in march 1989.
  • Further the first batch of class X passed out in 1991. The school was upgraded to class XI in 1991 and XII in 1992.
  • Humanities in class XI was introduced in the year 2002.
  • The school is running at three different locations - primary wing, middle wing and senior wing.
  • During 2002, new lab complex (Bhabha Block) & administrative building (Radhakrishnan Block) were constructed.

Academic Profile

  • All three streams science, commerce and humanities are available at senior secondary level.
  • School conducts four examinations in an academic session for classes XI & XII. School has introduced CCE and grading system as per the directions of CBSE for the classes I to X.
  • School conducts regular career and psychological counselling programme for senior students.
  • School conducts in-service teachers training for 5 days in an academic session. A special session for CCE was conducted by a resource person trained by CBSE to update our teachers.
  • CBSE conduct orientation programmes, like workshops and seminars regularly for teachers and adm staff.
